What a seven-year-old is working on
The jump to a hundred, which is not a jump in size but in method: two-digit numbers stop being lumps and start having tens and units inside them. The beginning of the times tables. Reading long enough to be read for meaning rather than decoded. And spelling rules, which is the first time a child is asked to apply a rule to a word rather than remember the word.
Why this age gets the most games
Everything here started with one seven-year-old, so this is the age the whole thing was aimed at and the one with the fewest gaps. A child of seven can read the questions, hold a plan, follow a rule and sit still for four rounds, and that combination opens nearly every game on the site.
A good week
Two subjects a day, a few rounds each, and the daily review โ which is short, asks only about things already missed, and is the part that actually makes facts stick. Anything the child keeps getting wrong will come back on its own, tomorrow and then in three days, so there is no need to chase it.
