Smarties started as a game for one seven-year-old boy, built by his father over a few days in September 2026. It grew to 51 games and was opened to everyone.
Who makes it

What it is not
- Not a school programme, and not a replacement for one
- Not free with a paid version behind it — there is no paid version
- Not advertising-funded; there are no adverts and no advertising trackers
- Not a data business: what a child does stays on the device unless a parent signs in
How it was built
The teaching decisions follow published research and the Polish curriculum rather than what holds attention longest: no countdowns in maths, no streaks, rounds of five to eight items, errors that come back on a spaced schedule, and praise that names the effort. Where the research and the engagement trick disagreed, the research won.
Why "Smarties"
Because they come in colours, there are lots of them, and nobody eats just one.
