Key location, not touch typing
Formal touch typing belongs around ages ten to twelve; before that, forcing the home-row position is slower than hunting and pecking and tends to backfire. So these games teach where the keys are and keep the two-hand habit, with left-hand and right-hand keys in different colours. There is no words-per-minute score.

The game draws its own keyboard rather than opening the system one, so the layout never jumps and a child never has to dismiss anything.
