What it teaches
The mechanics a sentence needs and a word does not: the space bar, the capital at the beginning, and the stop at the end. Children who type well at word level often lose all three the moment a sentence arrives.
How it works
A short sentence appears and the child types it. The space bar counts as a character like any other, and the sentence is not finished until the stop is typed.
A wrong key is not accepted, so the sentence on the screen is always right so far.
What to look for
This is the last game in the subject and the one to save until the others are easy. It is long enough that a tired child will give up on it, which is not a useful experience.
